| One of my kids gave me a set of Fiero outside rearview mirrors for my birthday a few years back and they found their way onto the Corsa. | Tragically in June 2004, a careless driver pulled in front of the Corsa. The 35 mph impact rendered the car destroyed. I am grateful to this little car for saving me. With the high-backed seats, the shoulder seat belts that were installed several years ago and the nice crushable Corvair front end, the only injuries sustained were a bruise where the seatbelt caught my chest and a broken heart. | GOOD BYE, OLD FRIEND. On a summer day in 2005 the Corsa made its final journey to the recycling yard. It's remains netted $13 which was immediately spent on a memorial lunch at the local Jack-in-the Box. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
